Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and Artificial Intelligence Patent Applications Receive Discounts!

The Ministry of Industry and Technology of Turkey and the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT) have announced a discount scheme to encourage the patenting of SMEs' inventions and innovations in the field of artificial intelligence.

“First Patent” Discount

For SMEs making their first patent applications, the following discounts will be applied:

* Patent application fee

* Research report preparation fee

* Examination report preparation fee – 75% discount

Discount on Artificial Intelligence Patent Applications

A 50% discount will be applied to the cost of preparing urgent research reports for patent applications in the field of artificial intelligence (G06N IPC class).

This application, which facilitates access to patent processes, aims to protect inventions and strengthen the country's innovation capacity. SMEs making their first patent application and applicants developing inventions in the field of artificial intelligence will be able to benefit from the discounts offered under the scheme.
