Cluster policy is a development model based on competitiveness-focused, innovation-oriented economic value creation process through public-university-industry cooperation. Clustering supports all processes that increase productivity, encourage innovation, attract investments, direct research, strengthen the industrial base, develop special products and services, and make them a focal point for development skills.
As Balıkesir University Technology Development Zone ''Balıkesir Technopark'', we aim to create an innovative and sustainable ecosystem in the software and IT field. Our mission is to create a competitive technology development environment at local and national levels by combining academic knowledge with the software-IT ecosystem; to create synergy by bringing together entrepreneurs, researchers and IT representatives.
As Balıkesir University Technology Development Zone, we aim to increase the production capacities of domestic producers in the sector and improve their national-international competitiveness and market shares with the cluster we will create in the software and IT field. For this purpose, we plan to create a facilitating and guiding platform that strengthens cooperation among all stakeholders of the sector, thus reducing our country's external dependence and making Balıkesir Technopark the center of software and IT technologies.

Our mission is to create a competitive technology development environment at local and national levels by combining academic knowledge with the health and chemistry ecosystem; to create synergy by bringing together entrepreneurs, researchers and sector representatives, to enable the cluster to develop joint projects and benefit from different support programs, to support the development of high value-added products and the implementation of innovative, efficient production processes in the sector.
