Balıkesir Teknokent General Assembly Concluded

The Balıkesir Teknokent General Assembly was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu, Rector of Balıkesir University and Chairman of the Balıkesir Teknokent Board of Directors.

The assembly was attended by Balıkesir Organized Industrial Zone Vice President Hüseyin Bekki, Balıkesir Chamber of Commerce Board Member Ali Özcan, Balıkesir Industrial Chamber Chairman Nazmi Yarış, Balıkesir Chamber of Commerce Parliament Chairman Okan Telaşeli, Burhaniye Chamber of Commerce Chairman Hasan Varol, and Balıkesir Provincial Trade Director İlhan Pehlivan.

During the meeting, a comprehensive presentation was delivered by Balıkesir Teknokent General Manager Fethiye Burcu Aydemir to the General Assembly members, detailing the Teknokent’s development to date, current activities and performance indicators, ongoing projects, company successes, and future goals.

The General Assembly also approved a capital increase decision aimed at strengthening the corporate and financial structure of Balıkesir Teknokent.

Balıkesir Teknokent will continue to expand its R&D, innovation, and entrepreneurship ecosystem, contributing to the region’s technology-driven development, thanks to its strong partnership structure and public-private-university collaboration.
