The TechStartup Badge is an official certification awarded by the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey to technology and innovation-focused start-ups with scalable business models. Valid for three years, this badge highlights your start-up’s innovative identity, builds trust with investors and business partners, and strengthens your corporate reputation.

What does the TechStartup Badge offer you?

Who can apply?
Start-ups wishing to apply must:
be a sole trader or limited company incorporated in Turkey;
have SME or independent business status;
have been in existence for no more than 15 years;
and have a technology- and innovation-based, scalable business model.
Start-ups that have been accepted or received support under the TGB, TEKMER, TÜBİTAK 1512 (BİGG) or 1812 (BiGG Investment) programmes within the last three years are automatically certified, provided they also meet the other criteria.
