Associate Professor Dr Hüseyin GÜNEŞ, Project and Business Development Manager at Balıkesir Technopark, Attended the NATO Allied Forecast Conference

Associate Professor Dr Hüseyin GÜNEŞ, Project and Business Development Manager at Balıkesir Technopark, attended the NATO Allied Forecast Conference held in Berlin, where he followed the international sessions on technologies and strategic foresight studies that will shape the future security environment.

During the conference, topics such as artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, electronic warfare, space security, simulation and wargames, decision support systems and next-generation defence technologies were discussed, whilst NATO’s approach to future forecasting and capability development was also shared with participants.

It is hoped that the knowledge and experience gained at the conference will contribute to the defence industry-focused R&D work, international collaborations and technology development activities carried out within the Balıkesir Technopark.
