As the Balıkesir University Technology Development Zone (Balıkesir Technopark), we have officially opened the “Balıkesir Technopark Tashkent International Liaison Office,” which will operate in the city of Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Established in collaboration with Renaissance Education University, this center will serve as a strong bridge of cooperation between Turkey and Uzbekistan in the fields of entrepreneurship, R&D, innovation, technology transfer, and international project development.
The opening ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu, Rector of Balıkesir University and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Balıkesir Technopark; Nuraliev Shohruh Shavkat o’g‘li, Rector of Renaissance Education University; Vice Rector Zokirjon Zikriyayev, General Manager of Balıkesir Technopark Assoc. Prof. Fethiye Burcu Aydemir, and Technology Transfer Office Coordinator Oğuz Han, along with numerous academics, aspiring entrepreneurs, and students.
Through this office, which represents a significant step toward Balıkesir Technopark’s internationalization vision, the aim is to develop joint acceleration programs, technology-focused training, investor meetings, mentorship programs, and international project collaborations.
