Through the International Entrepreneurship Panel we organized, hosted by Balıkesir University Technology Development Zone, we addressed the processes of startups expanding into global markets, investment dynamics, and the goal of creating new Turcorns from Türkiye.

At this event, which brought together academia, the public sector, and the business world, highly valuable contributions were made regarding the international dimension of entrepreneurship.

The panel, held with the participation of Balıkesir University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Satıl, Balıkesir Provincial Director of Industry and Technology Mehmet Şafak, as well as academics, business representatives, and entrepreneurs, presented a strong example of university–ecosystem collaboration.

Within the scope of the panel, participants were also informed about the Startup World Cup Türkiye 2026, which will be organized under the coordination of TÜBİTAK Marmara Technopark.

One of our primary goals is to ensure that startups emerging from Balıkesir create value on a global scale and evolve into structures capable of attracting investment.

In this regard, we are establishing a strong foundation that enables our entrepreneurs to take more confident and impactful steps in their international journeys.
