A Strong Gathering in Balıkesir Discussing the Vision of the National Technology Initiative

We hosted a significant gathering in Balıkesir where the vision of the National Technology Initiative was discussed.

At the BaunTECH Talks event organized by Balıkesir Technopark, we were pleased to welcome İrem Bayraktar Aksakal, Member of the Board of Trustees of the T3 Foundation, in Balıkesir.

In her speech titled “National Technology Initiative and Entrepreneurship,” Ms. Bayraktar Aksakal shared valuable perspectives on Türkiye’s technology vision, the entrepreneurship ecosystem, and the role that young people will play in this transformation.

Following the keynote session, the program continued with a panel titled “From Idea to Impact: The Power of Women in Science, Technology, and Leadership,” held with the participation of Yücel Oğurlu, Rector of Balıkesir University.

During the panel, Buse Tellioğlu Altındiş, Nezihe Filiz Toker, Müge Bezgin, and Derya Atılmış shared their experiences in entrepreneurship and the business world, highlighting the strong role of women in science, technology, and leadership.

This gathering, attended by representatives from academia, the public sector, the business community, and students, made a significant contribution to the development of the technology and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Balıkesir.
