A strategic cooperation protocol has been signed between Balıkesir Teknokent and Teknopark İstanbul within the scope of the TÜBİTAK BiGG (Individual Young Entrepreneur) Program.
The signing ceremony, hosted by Prof. Dr. Abdurrahman Akyol, General Manager of Teknopark İstanbul, was attended by Deputy General Managers Oğuz Özcan, Murat Topalfakıoğlu, and Burak Keskik, as well as Burcu Aydemir, General Manager of Balıkesir Teknokent, and Büşra Şeker, Project Development and Partnerships Specialist.
Through this collaboration, it is aimed to better prepare technology-oriented ventures emerging from Balıkesir for the TÜBİTAK BiGG process, to enhance mentoring and evaluation mechanisms, and to support startups in advancing to the investment and scaling stages in a more robust and well-equipped manner.
This protocol, which brings together the academic expertise of Balıkesir University and the entrepreneurial capacity of Balıkesir Teknokent with the strong ecosystem experience of Teknopark İstanbul, is expected to create significant momentum for entrepreneurs.
