Balıkesir Teknokent Holds Its Final Board of Directors Meeting of 2025

The final Board of Directors Meeting of Balıkesir Teknokent for 2025 was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu, Chairman of the Board of Balıkesir Teknokent and Rector of Balıkesir University.

The meeting was attended by Board Members Okan Telaşeli, Chairman of the Assembly of the Balıkesir Chamber of Commerce; Nazmi Yarış, Chairman of the Balıkesir Chamber of Industry; and Hüseyin Bekki, Vice Chairman of the Balıkesir Organized Industrial Zone.

During the meeting, Balıkesir Teknokent General Manager Lecturer Burcu Aydemir delivered a presentation providing information on the Technokent’s development process and strategic objectives.

The meeting addressed Balıkesir Teknokent’s current activities, ongoing projects, and plans for the upcoming period. In addition, the roadmap to be followed in line with the Technokent’s 2026 objectives—aimed at strengthening collaborations, further expanding the R&D and entrepreneurship ecosystem, and increasing contributions to regional development—was evaluated.
