Field Visit to Ankara’s Pre-Investment Test Centers under the EDIH West Marmara Project

As part of the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) Programme – EDIH West Marmara Project, the first day of a two-day field visit was carried out to examine the pre-investment test and digital transformation infrastructures located in Ankara.

During the first day of the program:

• A meeting was held with the management of Bilkent CYBERPARK, where opportunities for regional cooperation and potential collaboration areas regarding pre-investment test infrastructures were evaluated.
• The R&D laboratories of INFINIA and Sentebiolab were visited, and ongoing studies in advanced technology and biotechnology were examined on site.
• At the Ankara Chamber of Industry Competence and Digital Transformation Center – ASO Model Factory, information was obtained on the “learn-transform” approach and the lean production model, while good practices in digital and lean transformation were observed in the field.

The Ankara program includes representatives from consortium leader Trakya Development Agency, as well as South Marmara Development Agency, 1773 ITU Technopark, Çanakkale Technopark, and other stakeholder institutions. Balıkesir Technopark is represented by our General Manager, Burcu Aydemir.

Through the EDIH West Marmara Project, we will continue to support the digital and green transformation processes of SMEs in the TR2 Region with pre-investment test services, training, and consultancy activities.
