The Jury Meeting within the scope of the Business Development Support Program carried out by the Balıkesir Provincial Directorate of KOSGEB for SMEs was held at the Balıkesir Chamber of Commerce.

The evaluation was chaired by Dr. Deniz Timurçin, Director of KOSGEB Balıkesir, with the participation of:

• Volkan Kaya, Acting Director of the KOSGEB Sustainability Supports Department,

• Mehmet Şafak, Balıkesir Provincial Director of Industry and Technology,

• Onur Adıyaman, Secretary General of the South Marmara Development Agency,

• Burcu Aydemir, General Manager of Balıkesir Technopark,

• Uğur Şeker, SME Specialist at KOSGEB Balıkesir Directorate,

• Sibel Esetekin Tosun, Staff Member of KOSGEB Balıkesir Directorate.

During the meeting, 12 entrepreneurs presented their business ideas to the jury. The evaluation was based on the following criteria:
✅ Quality of presentation and project mastery
✅ Originality of the project
✅ Potential to offer solutions for the sector
✅ Feasibility
✅ Financial sustainability
✅ Contribution to the province/region
✅ Market (especially international) and growth potential
