As Balıkesir Technopark, we have successfully completed the closing session of our Clustering Training Programs carried out within the scope of the “Strong Clustering, Strategic Roadmap, and Collaboration Development” project, supported by the South Marmara Development Agency (GMKA) Technical Support Program.
In the final session of the program, we received strong participation from the member companies of our Software–Informatics–Technology Cluster and Healthcare Technologies–Chemical Industry Cluster. Comprehensive topics were covered regarding strengthening the institutional structures of our clusters, creating a shared brand value, enhancing project development capacity, and improving strategies for accessing funding mechanisms.
Following the closing training sessions, the roadmap for association and corporate structuring—an essential step in the institutionalization processes of our clusters—was evaluated together with our cluster member companies under the coordination of VA Partners Consultancy, and forward-looking implementation steps were defined.
With the completion of the GMKA Technical Support process, Balıkesir Technopark will continue its clustering activities with a focus on sustainability. In this context, preparations have begun for applications under:
• The Ministry of Industry and Technology Clustering Program,
• The Ministry of Trade UR-GE Program,
• The Ministry of Trade HİSER Program.
This new phase will deepen the integration of our clusters into the national and international ecosystem, strengthen their capacity for collective action, and provide a strategic competitive advantage to our regional companies.
