The #BaunTECHStart Early-Stage Acceleration Program, carried out by Balıkesir Teknokent, concluded with the Demo Day & Award Ceremony held at Balıkesir University Atatürk Congress and Culture Center – Malazgirt Hall, following three days of intensive training and mentoring.

Opening remarks were delivered by Burcu Aydemir, General Manager of Balıkesir Teknokent; Prof. Dr. Jur. Yücel Oğurlu, Rector of Balıkesir University and Chairman of the Teknokent Board; and Balıkesir Governor İsmail Ustaoğlu.

As part of the program, a panel titled “From Local to Global: The Future of the Entrepreneurship and Investment Ecosystem” featured:

• İbrahim Elbaşı, PhD – H2O Investment
• Abdurrahman Kılıç, PhD – Avalon Ventures
• Sami Serdar – International Incubation Center
• Nizamettin Sami Harputlu – StartupCentrum TR

The panel addressed topics such as startups emerging from Balıkesir, investment processes, and access to global funding ecosystems.

Nine entrepreneurial teams took the stage in the final and received great acclaim.

The top three teams were awarded one year of free office space and company formation support by Balıkesir Teknokent.
Additionally, these teams earned the right to participate in the G3 Summit, which will be held on November 18 in Kocaeli.
