The “Software Patentability and Intellectual Property Training”, organized in collaboration between Balıkesir Technopolis and Marmara Technopolis, was successfully completed with strong participation from technology-based entrepreneurs, researchers, and academicians.
The training was delivered by Süleyman Eryılmaz, Patent Attorney at Marmara Technopolis, who shared practical insights and up-to-date approaches on protecting intellectual property rights in the field of software development.
Throughout the program, the following key topics were discussed:
- The boundaries of patentability in software-based projects
- The strategic importance of intellectual property in innovation and R&D activities
- Technical criteria to consider in national and international patent processes
During the training, participants gained comprehensive knowledge on how to protect original ideas arising from software projects, how to structure intellectual property management during the commercialization process, and how the patent system contributes to creating a competitive advantage.
As Balıkesir Technopolis, we will continue to organize training and awareness activities to strengthen technology-based enterprises in terms of intellectual property rights and to support the commercialization of innovative ideas.
