Balıkesir Teknokent Acceleration, Startup Development and Demo Day Program Applications Have Started!

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), startups, and entrepreneurs in Balıkesir, aiming to develop their businesses and meet with investors, are invited to join the program with Balıkesir University students and students from REXNES University in Uzbekistan and Tashkent State Economic University, who wish to transform their business ideas into businesses!

Balıkesir’s first international acceleration and startup development program will bring together SMEs and startups with students from Balıkesir University, REXNES University in Uzbekistan and Tashkent State Economic University on a joint entrepreneurship platform.

Organized by Balıkesir Teknokent, the program will be carried out with a focus on acceleration for students and startup development for SMEs and startups.

Approximately 35 Hours of Free Training

Online and face-to-face training modules include:

- Grant and Incentive Opportunities

- Startup Ecosystem 101

- Business Model Canvas Training and Workshop

- Financial Projection Training and Workshop

- Investment Presentation Training and Workshop

- Investor Perspective Startup Valuation

- Legal and Financial Processes in the Investment Process

- Training on Establishing Companies Abroad

- Team Training

The program, which will also be delivered by Ufuk Batum in person, will focus on preparing the presentation of startups to investors.

One-on-One Support from Expert Mentors

Following the training, students and companies will have the opportunity to develop their business ideas and business models, shape their growth goals, and prepare for investment discussions with mentors.

Meeting with Investors via Demo Day

During Demo Day, students, SMEs and startups will meet with investors from various sectors, experts and ecosystem stakeholders, gaining the opportunity to introduce their businesses and develop new partnerships.

Awards and Support Opportunities

Newly established student startups will receive 12 months of free office space; firms will have opportunities to meet with investors, cloud credit, SaaS and similar support.
